Birthday Travels

 It was my birthday on Tuesday.  B decided we should go on a day trip to the Keewenaw Peninsula which is the northern most part of Michigan on Lake Superior to see the Autumn colors.  I want to share some of the beautiful colors we saw.  Between God and Mother Nature, their artwork is awe inspiring.

We also went to the JamPot.  It is a bakery run by the monks of the Holy Protection Monastery which is a Byzantine Catholic Monastery in Eagle Harbor, MI.  They have the most delicious jams, jellies and baked goods.

Afterwards we had dinner at the Mariners Restaurant in Copper Harbor before heading home.  It was a wonderful birthday outing.
