This past week's weather has been brutal with temps in the single digits with
wind chills bringing them below zero. Usually we manage to get thru winter with
only the livingroom heaters on (we have electric baseboard heaters in the house
and can run them individually depending what room we need them on in). However,
this winter we have had to have the diningroom heaters on as well.
*Added 2 quilts to the bed at night as it has been so cold. Our cat, Al, who
normally does not sleep under the covers at night has been crawling under
there. It must be way too cold for him too.
*Lost 12 pounds since beginning of year. Am happy about this as I need to
get into my new dress for the youngest son's wedding this summer.
*Received free covid tests in the mail. will put away until needed.
Eldest son ordered them for us when he ordered for he and dil.
*Received roses from B for Valentines Day - hard to believe we have
celebrated 49 Valentines Days together.
*Wednesday turned out to be a somewhat better day temperature wise, so B
and I went out and did some errands.
*Haircuts for B and me
*Purchased 2 new livingroom chairs at sale prices.
*Finished March bujo with a week to spare.
*Dryer vent decided to break down in the middle of laundry. But B
was able to fix it in record time.
*Received tax refund in direct deposit within a week of getting taxes done
and submitted. Refund will go into emergency fund.
I am so sick of winter. Hopefully, the temperatures will go up to double digits
soon but I am not counting on it.
Great weight loss. You are doing just fine.
