The End of August and The Start of September

I haven't been posting too often this past month so decided to get caught up today.

B & I went to the Baraga Drive-in for lunch. A throwback to the drive ins of "Happy Days" fame. Hamburgers homemade and big enough for two meals & homemade root beer in frosty mugs.  Loved it. 8/19

We went to a used book sale at local library, then to the DaYooper store (touristy gift shop for the UP) to see if there is anything for Christmas presents and then to Mt. Shasta restaurant for dinner.  Anatomy of a Murder pics and memorabilia.  8/22

Found flooring for bedroom which we will install in October. 8/25

Made cherry crumble for B 8/25

BBQ wings in crockpot 8/25

B took down a large limb from maple tree that was hanging very very low over the front deck. 8/26

B made his homemade chicken noodle soup.  Good day for it as it is only 59 degrees out 8/27

We went to a huge indoor/outdoor antique/garage sale at Fairgrounds in Escanaba, found nothing to buy but enjoyed walking around, looking at everything and enjoying the nice weather. 8/29

Finally got the new toilet installed 8/30

Washer has decided to die so must go out looking for a new one

Quiet Labor Day...decorated the house for Fall and enjoyed a 70s degree day on the deck 9/1

Have to go to the medical center for lab tests per the specialist dr's orders.  I am so thrilled (not).  I despise needles.  Since we will be out today, we will go look at washing machines to replace the one that decided to die this past weekend.  Also, B needs a flooring strip for the new bathroom floor which we will be installing later this week now that we have the new toilet in. 9/2
