Week of 1/10 Wrap Up

Made a draft stopper for the front door.

Sewed a new cover for the heating pad.

Recovered seat cushion on sewing bench.

Sent out anniversary card for oldest son & dil 15th.

Finished shredding paperwork from 2021

Purchased a toaster and a new iron from the Dollar Store.

decluttered guest room closet and added to the donation pile.

Finally found a dress for the youngest son's wedding. Now need
to find someone to do alterations.

Purchased a small floor heater for the basement so I don't
freeze when doing laundry.

Crocheting afghan for gift for son & dil

Meals for the week:
     Monday - lasagna
     Tuesday - left over lasagna w/garlic bread & salad
     Wednesday - tomato basil soup & grilled cheese sandwiches
     Thursday - baked chicken breasts w/mashed potatoes
     Friday - chicken fettuccine
     Saturday - cheeseburgers and curly fries (homemade)
     Sunday -  chinese vegetables with rice

 

Week of 1/3 Wrap Up

Got our Booster shots. Only side effect were sore arms for about a day

House completely cleaned after Christmas

Took in change jar from 2021. Got $375 to put in emergency account

Sent out birthday card for my dil's 40th birthday

Made an apple crisp for B

Replenished the pantry from what was used during the holidays.

Started putting together a donation pile

Purchased tickets to see Celtic Woman in June

Wednesday and Thursday stuck in house because of snowstorm

Spent most of Friday shoveling and snowblowing to be able to
get out of house

Meals for the week:
     Monday - chili in slo cooker
     Tuesday - breaded chicken breasts w/mashed potatoes
     Wednesday - BBQ wings in slo cooker
     Thursday - baked potatoes in slo cooker
     Friday - shrimp scampi w/rice
     Saturday - B made his homemade chicken noodle soup
     Sunday - leftovers dinner
