Inspiration desperately needed!

With everything that has been happening in the news in the last week, I found myself searching for an inspiration that will speak to me, sustain me and give me strength to cope with the coming days, weeks, months and 4 years.  I found that inspiration in Jeremiah.

“‘For I know well the plans I have in mind for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for your welfare, not for woe! plans to give you a future full of hope.’” —Jeremiah 29:11

    For me it was
    Remember the days past when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a great contest of suffering. At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and affliction; at other times you associated yourselves with those so treated.
    You even joined in the sufferings of those in prison
    and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property,
    knowing that you had a better and lasting possession.
    Therefore, do not throw away your confidence;
    it will have great recompense.     ~ Hebrews 10: 32 – 35

    The strengthening given to you, Ellen, is what faith will lead you and I to - miracles. God knows how much I need one now - just to lift me up, you know.
