Thank you for your ideas but unfortunately the deer have cleaned out the buffet. All of my potted flowers are gone and the tops of all my hostas have been eaten to the ground. I will not be adding any more potted flowers and will think about replanting hostas in the fall. The score is: Deer 1 Me 0!
Oh dear. Other than a rather tall fence, I don't think there is much that will keep deer out of the garden.

Oh no! Jackie is right, there isn't a whole lot one can do to keep hungry deer from the garden. I hope they move on now that they've made such a mess.
